Welcome to the Investigator Training page. Before beginning the trial we need you to complete the training below.
The Principal Investor will need to complete the Good Clinical Practice Course, The AbThera Training and The Protocol Training.
All other surgeons that are involved at each site, and are not the Principal Investigator simply need to complete the AbThera Training and the Protocol Training
After the Good Clinical Practice training you will be able to print off a certificate of completion. A copy of that certificate will be placed in the site study binder and should also be sent to Jessica Mckee. The instructions of how to complete the GCP course can be downloaded below (Good Clinical Practice Instructions). If your university has a licence you can use that, or complete the course using the University of Calgary affiliation.
For the AbThera and COOL protocol training there will be a brief test at the end of the powerpoint. The final score needs to 100% to be considered a pass. You will be given an opportunity to re-train and re-do the multiple choice questions should you get one wrong. The results of those Multiple Choice Questionnaire will automatically be sent to Jessica Mckee.
Good Clinical Practice Course Instructions
The Good Clinical Practice course only needs to be completed by the Primary Investigator at each site. If you are not the Primary Investigator and would like to complete the course anyway, please feel free to do so.
